Wanted to like this shoe but was really wide and long – and shoe strings were extremely long!

I wear a 6.5 in sandals but need an 8 in this tennis shoe. I don’t like my athletic shoes to be tight.

To be completely honest, these shoes remind me of Kramer’s Vertical Leap Training Shoes. They are really goofy looking with a very round toe. My main problem, though was how high the vamp and tongue of the shoe are. The tongue of the shoe all the way up my foot and cutting into my ankle. Needless to say, that’s not really a flattering look. I’m not sure why sneakers need to look like clompy boots. They were cut well for my feet, which are wide, though. That was really the only plus.

These run Narrow in the box but big in length

Like walking on a cloud. Great for tennis. The tongue comes up a little higher than I’m used to with my tennis playing shoes and it’s a little scratchy but not so bad that it makes the shoes bad. I got lots of compliments and won the match in these shoes. Love them.

Pros: great colorway, stable, and fast. Short break in time.
Cons: runs really wide especially in the toe box and the outsole wore out in 3 months. Also looks a little clunky with the wide, round toe box. The tongue felt long at first but that feeling subsided quickly.

I’m a novice 3.0-3.5 player but play tennis 3-5 times a week competitively. I typically buy the Barricade tennis shoe but I decided to try the Avacourt. The Avacourt is more comfortable and has more cushion than the Barricade, so I decided to play in them for 2 hours in a match between friends. I can’t decide if the shoes need to be broken in more or they are bulkier. My Barricades are an extension of my body. I definitely felt like the Avacourt shoes were getting in the way of my feet work. I’ll try wearing the Avacourt on a different court and see if it works but otherwise this pair will be my last Avacourt purchase.

I’ve been wearing Avacourt for about 2 1/2 months for pickleball (~10 hrs/wk). Absolutely love the support and the grip of the sole. The green is a perfect pickleball green with a contrasting black that is a nice change from white court shoes. My only complaint is that they run at least 1 size too big in length. I’m still wearing them and it doesn’t seen to effect my game, but when I reorder I will get a smaller size. Width is perfect.

So cute! LOVE the colors ! (I got the blue & orange). Size 8-1/2 was perfect (my normal shoe size). Had to return — the tongue is so long it rubbed the crease of my ankle / leg area in an annoying way and I could anticipate the raw wound…. Maybe if you wore taller socks to protect that area it would help…. Disappointed…. CUTE SHOES !!

True to size at 7.5 and a wide foot. No slipping. But the tongue is so long it’s poking my leg. Irritating. And the foam cushioning on the tongue is blue and embarrassingly shows through. Footbed comfortable but would prefer more under the ball of my foot. I suppose I got my $50 bucks worth for the white ones.

My daughter wears these for indoor field hockey bc she needs a wider shoe. She tried on 6 pairs of shoes and landed on these. I like them because I can quickly find her on the court with the colors- she is just happy they are responsive and more comfortable than the typical indoor hockey shoes for her foot.

Size length and width were correct, yet my heel slipped when walking. The sneaker is so heavy and inflexible that I felt like I tried on cement blocks.

Fit my foot a bit wide.

I had a previous version of the Avacourt and the tread was a better pattern than this version. I’m afraid it won’t stand up to the type of play I do. My other Avacourts held up for almost 1 year with 8-10 hrs PB a week. Also, this version seems a little narrower in toe box.

After only three months the eyelets are all broken. The shoe held up badly. The fit is great.

I have small bunions and these were not wide enough for me.

I’ve tried a lot of pickleball shoes and these were, by far, the worst. The laces are a very odd design and hard to tighten. They are made entirely of plastic — I can’t image how hot they would make my feet. Hard Pass!
